A longtime presence in the Dallas business community, Rick Jackson is the founder of the consulting firm Biz Accelerator, where he engages with growth-focused firms in successfully commercializing core technologies, services, and products. Typically, companies that Rick Jackson and his Dallas team guide range from $3 million to $30 million in annual revenue and have patentable, proprietary intellectual property. Recently, Rick has assisted NoiseAware in building a new category for vacation rental property managers that enables remote noise monitporing and compliance. He completed his bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Texas at Austin and gained experience in the late 1990s as sales manager with the Plano firm EDS. Later, as vice president of sales and marketing with Digital Knowledge Assets, he guided the commercialization of a pioneering online collaboration and social media publishing company. He and his team were responsible for developing a real-time Internet-based communication platform that presaged those now employed for data and content feeds for Facebook and Google, among others.

Having worked with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban in entrepreneurial capacities, Mr. Jackson served as senior director of broadcast services with Broadcast.com/Yahoo! He was able to penetrate a number of new vertical markets while consistently expanding client acquisitions and revenue.
